More Frequent Furnace Repairs

The last two years of a furnace's life are when your system encounters the most breakdowns. Take a moment to add up the money you've been spending on furnace repair the previous two years - a new system may be more cost efficient.

Strange Noises

Have you heard any weird noises coming from your system? Furnaces start making strange noises near the end of their life. If your furnace is switching on and off frequently or blowing cold air, it's time to consider getting your system replaced.

A Dry or Dusty Home

Older furnaces don't humidify or filter the air in your home all that well. Your home can start feeling stuffy and anyone in the home with allergies may notice an uptick in their symptoms. Some other red flags are: static shocks, drooping plants and cracking furniture.
